We have received several inquiries regarding the photography targets for the North Kanto Season, so we would like to provide some additional information.
① Photographing the “Nameplate”
The nameplate is a round, white or silver plate attached to the utility pole.
When taking a photo, please ensure that the text on the nameplate is clearly visible.
If the nameplate is located at a high position, please use the zoom function and take the photo in a way that makes the text as readable as possible within your capabilities.
② Photographing the “Step Bolt Socket”
The Step Bolt Socket is a small hole of about 2 cm in diameter located on the utility pole.
Some of these holes may have white or black covers.
When taking a photo, please try to capture the socket from a direct front angle as much as possible.
Each utility pole has multiple Step Bolt Sockets, and any of them can be photographed as the target. However, please prioritize selecting one located in the lower part of the pole for easier photography.
Additionally, some Step Bolt Sockets may already have step bolts inserted. In this case, please take a photo of an empty socket without a bolt. (Exception: If all sockets on the pole have bolts inserted, you may photograph one with the bolt attached.)
In the North Kanto Season, some of the utility poles designated for photography may be located near residential areas. As a result, local residents or, in some cases, the police may approach you while you are taking photos. If this happens, please show your game screen or the event flyer and explain that you are participating in a demonstration experiment for utility pole photography.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring safe gameplay.
