PicTrée Tokyo Main Season: Schedule and Feature Updates

We are pleased to announce the schedule for the Tokyo Main Season and the new features and changes that will be implemented from this season onward.

 

Duration:
The Tokyo Main Season will be divided into three parts, running from September 13, 2024 (Friday) to November 30, 2024 (Saturday).

 

〇Pre-season: July 26, 2024 (Friday) from 7:00 AM to September 12, 2024 (Thursday) 6:00 PM
〇Tokyo Main Season 1: September 13, 2024 (Friday) from 7:00 AM to September 30, 2024 (Monday) 6:00 PM
〇Tokyo Main Season 2: October 1, 2024 (Tuesday) from 7:00 AM to October 31, 2024 (Thursday) 6:00 PM
〇Tokyo Main Season 3: November 1, 2024 (Friday) from 7:00 AM to November 30, 2024 (Saturday) 6:00 PM

 

Photography Times:
A new mode called “Mission” will be introduced during the Tokyo Main Season. The available times for standard photography and Mission will differ:
・Standard photography: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
・Mission: No time restrictions
There are also no time restrictions for check-ins.

 

Event Areas:
Chiyoda, Minato, and Chuo wards, consistent with the Tokyo Pre-season settings.

 

Photography Targets:
In addition to electric poles, “ventilation hole” are now included as photography targets.

What are ventilation hole?
These are openings for ventilation and access, used to maintain and secure underground electrical facilities. Typically, they are installed on pedestrian and vehicle pathways and are covered with ventilated iron lids.

Photography targets will include those ventilation hole marked with one of three specific symbols.

 

 

 

Additional Feature: Mission
Starting with the Tokyo Main Season, “Mission” will be introduced.
These missions occur intermittently and involve photographing specified electrical facilities within a set time frame. Completing these missions within the allotted time allows participants to earn rewards based on their mission completion ranking.

  

 

Changes in Photography Angles
For the Tokyo Main Season, the required photography angles for standard utility pole photography will be updated. Additionally, the angles for “Mission” will differ from those of standard utility pole photography.

●Standard Utility Pole Photography
Currently, photos are required from three perspectives: “Full View,” “Top Half,” and “Utility Pole Number.” Starting with the Tokyo Main Season, photos will be required from four perspectives: “Full View 1,” “Full View 2,” “Utility Pole Number,” and “Lower Part of the Pole.”

“Full View 1” and “Full View 2” must be taken from different angles.

 

●Utility Pole Photography in “Mission”
The requirements will include five photos: “Full View (one direction),” “Utility Pole Number,” “Front of the Pole,” “Left Side of the Pole,” and “Right Side of the Pole.”
